TP-Link RE305 Mesh WiFi Extender

About this product

The TP-Link RE305 WiFi Extender helps improve wireless coverage in areas where your main router cannot provide a strong signal. It connects to your existing WiFi network and extends the connection into rooms, offices and other weak-signal areas. Therefore, you can enjoy a more useful wireless connection without replacing your main router.

Fast Dual-Band WiFi with TP-Link RE305 WiFi Extender

The RE305 uses both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands . The 2.4GHz band provides speeds of up to 300 Mbps, while the 5GHz band reaches up to 867 Mbps. As a result, you can use the 2.4GHz band for web browsing and everyday devices while using 5GHz for activities such as HD streaming and gaming.

Mesh WiFi Support

With a compatible TP-Link OneMesh router, the RE305 can create a unified Mesh network. This setup can use one WiFi name across the network and helps provide smoother coverage as you move around your home. However, Mesh features depend on compatible router and extender hardware or firmware.

Easy Placement and Setup with TP-Link RE305 WiFi Extender

The intelligent signal light helps you find a better location for the extender. Blue indicates a good connection, while red indicates that the extender sits too far from the router. In addition, the WPS button provides a simple way to connect the extender to your network.

You can also use the TP-Link Tether App on Android or iOS devices to set up and manage the RE305. Furthermore, the Ethernet port lets you use the device as an Access Point when you connect it to a wired network.

Practical Home and Office Coverage with TP-Link RE305 WiFi Extender

The compact RE305 fits easily into many indoor spaces. Its two external antennas help extend the wireless signal, while its dual-band design supports multiple connected devices. Overall, the TP-Link RE305 WiFi Extender offers a practical way to improve WiFi coverage and reduce weak-signal areas in your home or office.
