Your personal data will be used to process your order, support your experience throughout this website, and for other purposes described in our privacy policy.

These terms apply to your use of shopo.lk and to every order you place with us. By using the website or placing an order you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. About these terms
In these terms, “Shopo.lk”, “we” and “us” means Shopo.lk, the online store owned and operated by Payanything (Pvt) Ltd (Reg. No. PV00257463), a private limited company registered in Sri Lanka with its registered office at No 28, 2nd Floor, 2nd Cross Street, Colombo 11, Sri Lanka, trading from 385, 2nd Floor, Galle Road, Wellawatte, Colombo 00600, Sri Lanka (phone 077 777 1225, email orders@shopo.lk), and “you” means the person using the website or placing an order. Our Privacy Policy, Delivery page and Returns & Refunds policy form part of these terms.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or over to place an order.
- The information you give us must be accurate and complete. We may cancel orders placed with false or incomplete details.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account.
- We may suspend or close accounts that are used fraudulently, abusively or in breach of these terms.
3. Products and information
- We work to describe products accurately, but images are for illustration and colours, packaging and minor details may differ from what is shown.
- Specifications come from manufacturers and suppliers and may change without notice.
- We may correct errors, update product information, and change or withdraw any product at any time.
4. Prices
- All prices are in Sri Lankan Rupees and include applicable taxes.
- The price shown on a product is the price for payment by bank transfer or card.
- Paying in 3 instalments with KOKO or Mintpay adds a provider charge. The charge is shown at checkout before you pay.
- Delivery is charged separately where applicable and is shown at checkout.
- We may change prices at any time. Changes do not affect orders we have already accepted, except as described below.
- Pricing errors: if a product is listed at an incorrect price, we are not obliged to sell it at that price. We may cancel the order and refund you in full, even after an order confirmation has been sent, or offer you the product at the correct price.
5. Orders and when a contract is formed
- Placing an order is an offer to buy. The order confirmation we send by email or SMS confirms that we have received your order; it is not acceptance.
- A contract is formed only when we dispatch your order, or tell you it is ready to collect.
- We may refuse or cancel any order before that point, including where an item is out of stock, a price or description is wrong, payment cannot be verified, we suspect fraud or misuse, the delivery address cannot be served, or quantities exceed our limits.
- If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund the amount we received. We have no further liability for the cancellation.
6. Payment
- We accept card payments (processed by Genie Business), bank transfer, and pay-in-3 with KOKO or Mintpay. We do not offer cash on delivery.
- Bank transfer: the full amount must reach our account within 48 hours of placing the order, using your order number as the reference. Unpaid orders may be cancelled after that. Orders are processed once the funds have cleared.
- KOKO and Mintpay: approval is decided by the provider. Your instalment plan is an agreement between you and that provider and is governed by their terms. We are not responsible for their decisions, fees or collections.
- If a payment is reversed, charged back or found to be fraudulent, we may cancel the order, recover the goods or amount owed, and report the matter to the relevant authorities.
7. Delivery
- Delivery options, prices and estimated times are on our Delivery page and are shown at checkout. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.
- You must give a complete delivery address and a mobile number that is reachable on the delivery day.
- If a delivery fails because of an incorrect address, an unreachable number, refusal or absence, we may charge for re-delivery, or cancel the order and refund it less the delivery costs incurred.
- Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to your address, to you or to anyone accepting them there. Ownership passes once we have received full payment.
- Please check your parcel on delivery. Visible damage or missing items must be reported within 48 hours as set out in our Returns & Refunds policy.
8. Returns and warranty
Returns, refunds and warranty claims are handled under our Returns & Refunds policy. Manufacturer warranties are provided by the manufacturer or its authorised agent on the terms of the warranty; we will help you make a claim.
9. Offers and coupons
- Offers and coupons are valid only for the period and products stated, cannot be exchanged for cash, and unless stated otherwise only one may be used per order.
- We may change or end an offer at any time, and cancel orders that misuse an offer or coupon.
10. Using the website
You must not use the website unlawfully or fraudulently, interfere with its operation or security, try to access accounts or systems that are not yours, or copy content or product data from it by automated means. The content, design and branding of the website belong to us or our licensors and may not be reused without our written permission.
11. Our liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, business, income or data.
- We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural events, strikes, power or network failures, courier disruptions, or government action.
- Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Indemnity
You agree to compensate us for any loss, cost or claim that results from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the website.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time by publishing a new version on this page. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. The courts of Colombo have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Before starting any formal claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter.
